As a Quality Control Lab Technician, you will play a key role in testing materials, supporting production, and maintaining the integrity of our laboratory operations. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where accuracy, communication, and problem-solving are essential. Responsibilities + Perform in-process and finished product testing in accordance with internal standards and customer specifications. + Evaluate results, identify nonconformities, and clearly document any required adjustments to production materials. + Place out-of-spec materials on quality hold and complete additional sampling, inspections, or testing as required. + Conduct routine calibration checks and preventative maintenance on laboratory instruments. + Maintain accurate, timely records following Good Documentation Practices. + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory work area. + Communicate effectively with production, quality, and leadership teams regarding test results and quality concerns. Essential Skills + High school diploma or GED + Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment + Strong understanding of basic chemistry, quality control methods, and testing procedures + Proficiency with laboratory equipment and technical documentation + Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills + Strong communication and teamwork abilities Additional Skills & Qualifications + Associate's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field + Previous experience in QC testing or rubber or plastics materials testing + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision + Comfort with software for data entry, logging results, and equipment interfaces + Bachelor's of Science preferred + Basic Laboratory experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred Work Environment This role is based in a manufacturing laboratory environment, operating during the first shift from 7am to 3pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Olive Branch, MS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
