Medical Laboratory Technician (Travel)
Location:
Helena, Montana Assignment Length:
13 weeks (August 16, 2026 - November 14, 2026)
Schedule:
Rotating shifts, 40 guaranteed hours per week Traveler Only Travel Pay breakdown:- Taxable w2: $17/hr
Stipend:
$1,442/week
Weekly Gross:
$2,122/week
Blended Pay:
$53.05/hr
Shift:
Rotating mainly 8Hr eves may work 10's as well. May be needed to work a day or night shift occasionally. Position Overview Seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) for a 13-week travel assignment. This position primarily works 8-hour evening shifts, with occasional 10-hour shifts and the possibility of covering day or night shifts as needed. The technologist will perform testing across multiple laboratory departments while maintaining quality and patient safety standards.
Responsibilities Perform laboratory testing in:
Chemistry Hematology Urinalysis Blood Bank Microbiology (including Gram stains and culture setup) Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation. Accurately document and report patient results. Follow quality control, safety, and regulatory guidelines. Utilize Epic EMR and Sunquest Blood Bank systems. Float within the laboratory departments as needed (no floating outside the lab). HL01
Pay:
$2,000.00 - $2,122.00 per week Application Question(s): • Previous travel experience required.
