Job Description

Shift:
Nights, 3 - 12's Under the supervision of a licensed physician, the Polysomnography Technician is responsible for collecting high-quality, artifact-free sleep study data, analyzing results, and adjusting respiratory support devices for patients with suspected sleep-related breathing disorders. This role primarily involves overnight monitoring and may include conducting EEGs in conjunction with sleep studies to support accurate diagnosis and patient care.
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE
1-3 years sleep laboratory experience or equivalent.
EDUCATION
: 1-3 years experience in sleep laboratory and/or respiratory therapy or related healthcare field.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY
CPR required, ACLS preferred. RPSGT required or must be enrolled in or have completed one of the following: A-STEP Online Self Study Modules; or CAAHEP Accredited Sleep Technology training program; or Electroneurodiagnostic (END) Program; or respiratory therapy add-on track for sleep technology.
