Job Description

Laboratory Assistant needed- Hours would be Mon-Thurs 7am-4pm, and Friday 7-1. Experience in the lab helpful but willing to train right person, someone with a strong scientific background or love of science would be ideal. Will be Organizing and keeping lab clean-will also be responsible for glassware cleaning in the microbiology and chemistry labs. Must be able to handle being exposed to chemicals in the lab on a daily basis. Will also be responsible for getting the mail, logging samples, filing of samples and results, and other tasks assigned to help scientific staff or owner of the company. Very strict protocols are required, and adherence to SOPS in sampling, transport, and security will have to be followed. Good customer relations is important, as you will be our face to the clients, and will be working very closely with clients to help them stay in compliance, while meticulously maintaining the integrity of the lab samples.
MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS
Do not apply if you cant fulfill these: Must be able to be fingerprinted and pass a background check, will have to pass before hire. Clean Driving record-NO violations in the last 10 years DEPENDABLE/Responsible person needed with work references, must be able to be a team player and work efficiently. Compensation is $16.50-18.50/hr depending on experience. Relocation assistance is not available-pay is $16.50-18.50/hour
