Part Time day shift Microbiology position for Charlotte Reference Lab located conveniently off of 1-77 and I-485.

MLT/MT Part-time day shift- Microbiology Lab Reports to :

Lab Manager Job Summary :

Performs routine microbiology analysis on various specimens to obtain data which may be used by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Adheres to strict QC and QA policies. Key responsibilities : Follow laboratory procedures for specimen handling, processing, test analysis, reporting and maintaining records of patient results. Works well under pressure and time constraints. Communicate with clinical staff regarding patient samples, results, and any problems arising with testing or reporting of samples.

Qualifications :

AA/AS; BS degree from accredited college or university ASCP or AMT Certification 1-2 years clinical lab experience with BioMerieux Vitek a plus
