Lab Analyst - 2nd Shift | Hickory, NC 2nd
Shift:
3:00 PM-11:00 PM EST Hickory, NC | Full-Time | Onsite Build Your Career in Advanced Materials & Manufacturing Lincotek Surface Solutions is looking for a Lab Analyst to join our team in Hickory, NC. This is a great opportunity for someone with laboratory, materials, metallurgical, or manufacturing experience who enjoys hands-on technical work and wants to be part of an innovative manufacturing environment. As a Lab Analyst, you'll support production and development activities by preparing and analyzing metallographic samples, performing materials testing, documenting results, and working closely with Engineers and Manufacturing leaders. What You'll Do Prepare metallographic samples through cutting, mounting, embedding, and polishing Perform testing related to LPCS, APS, HVOF, PACK, CVD, stripping, brazing, welding, and laser processes Operate cutting saws and optical microscopes Analyze materials and interpret metallographic results Read and interpret part cut-up drawings Enter and maintain accurate laboratory data and test results Conduct testing on new consumable materials Work with Engineers and Managers on development projects Maintain laboratory supplies and internal inventory Keep the laboratory and work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety requirements Analyze and communicate laboratory results and reports ⭐ What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment. Experience or education in any of the following is a plus: Metallurgy or Materials Science Metallography Laboratory testing Materials testing Microscopy Aerospace or advanced manufacturing Welding, brazing, or coatings Quality or manufacturing laboratory environments Why Join Lincotek? Pay:
$20.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
