Job Description

Malone Solutions is currently hiring for a Lab Tech in Mt. Holly. This position is Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm. This position pays $22/hour. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply!!
Role Overview:
The Lab Technician will support our Industrial Applications team across several business areas, including Industrial Lubricants, Polyglycols, and Paints & Coatings. The position operates on first shift (approximately 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM) . This role is based in an application and development laboratory and is not a quality control-based position. $22/hour
Key Responsibilities:
Performing synthesis reactions and preparing industrial formulations for application testing Conducting sample preparation, executing test methods, and performing data entry Maintaining electronic laboratory notebooks and generating reports Calibrating and maintaining laboratory instrumentation Managing chemical inventory, waste disposal, and supply ordering Supporting domestic and international hazardous materials shipping in compliance with DGR regulations Interfacing with technical teams to support customer requests and ongoing projects
Candidate Requirements:
A four-year degree in Chemistry or a related science field OR a high school diploma with 4+ years of hands-on laboratory experience Practical lab experience beyond academic coursework (e.g., internship, co-op, or prior contract work) Proficiency in MS Office; SAP experience is a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment Commitment to safety protocols and compliance with annual training requirements Malone is an equal opportunity employer
