Process Technician IV Location:
Newton, NC Hours:
M-F 8-5pm (OT as needed)
Summary:
Supports engineers in improving manufacturing processes via machine setups, collection and analysis of produciton samples, and collection and analysis of data. Plans sequence of operationsfor experimental trials, exercising judgment in compromising between conflicting requirements, economic evaluation of methods, and operator effectiveness and comfort. Conducts tests and measurements throughout stages of production to determine control over such key process variables.
Key Reponsibilities:
Considerable technical and content knowledge of working in a manufacturing environment. Comfortable working with Engineers and Manufacturing Operators. Independently able to solve the vast majority of problems and ambiguities by examine pertinent facts and evidence. Seeks direction for issues that cross functional areas and/or have broad impacts. Coordinates other activities beyond routine tasks. Recommends process improvements, meets or exceeds deadlines, and able to maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance. Required Education, Skills and Experience AAS Preferred but not required, HS/Equivalent Required.
Experience:
7+ Years in Manufacturing environment Familiarity with Excel.
