Job Description

Job description: Field Implementation Specialist 18-36 month contract This position requires up to 95% travel Monday through Friday (all expenses reimbursed weekly)
Pay Rate:
$45/hr (non negotiable) The Field Implementation Specialist is an entry-level, national position that serves as the primary liaison representative providing post-sales customer support during the installation, implementation, and training of clinical chemistry and immunoassay analyzers/instruments, such as cobas Pro and cobas 8000, at customer sites. You will be mentored to provide highly visible, self-supervised, self-directed, and extensive onsite advisory customer support. While some job tasks may be performed remotely, this is a field-based, national role which requires 95% travel to client sites, including overnight travel Mon-Fri every week. Additionally, you will need to currently reside within 50 miles from a major, metropolitan airport in the US since relocation benefits are not provided. The Opportunity Learns and provides entry-level support as the primary liaison/customer support representative throughout each customer implementation Validates analyzer installations (check the accuracy of the analyzer) Identify training gaps by assessing customers' organizational structure, analyzers/instruments, workflow, and current knowledge/experience Develops and delivers training to customers on Roche platforms, processes and expectations, including planning and coordination for implementation Provides first-level of support and problem solving of issues that arise for customers during the lifecycle of the solution; refers only the most complex issues to higher levels Identifies opportunities for new system consumables for clients (i.e. reagents, primary antibodies, bio-markers, software) This is a field based role Who You Are Associate's degree in Medical Technology, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Clinical Laboratory Sciences 3 years previous experience in a clinical laboratory or IT support in a clinical lab environment Preferences ASCP certification Ability and willingness to rapidly gain and apply new knowledge, solutions, and skills for Roche chemistry and IT solutions Effective customer communication skills (written and verbal), positive attitude, helpful customer interaction, and fostering of strong internal and external customer relationships Effective time-management, organization, and prioritization skills Ability to work as a field-based individual contributor with independence and autonomy
Pay:
$45.00 per hour

This position travels overnight Monday through Friday (leave on Mondays, return home on Friday afternoons). Are you comfortable being away from home Monday morning through Friday afternoon? This position is an 18 month contract with the potential to extend up to 3 years or convert into a permanent role. Are you comfortable starting with an 18 month contract? Do you have at least 3 years experience working as a MLS or MLT? Do you have validation experience on a chemistry analyzer or any other analyzer?
