Job Description

Position Summary The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) prepares patient specimens as required for laboratory testing. As an MLT, you will: Perform laboratory tests and monitor test results to assure test quality and validity. Communicate results in a timely manner, especially those that may be life threatening to the patient. Maintain properly documented records of activities. Clean and maintain laboratory equipment and environment. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements High School plus 2 years or more of formal training/education or higher (
