You support our team as Test Lab Technician Responsibilities Set up, operate, monitor, and maintain component and product performance tests to support customer requirements and product qualification activities. Install seals, shafts, bore plates, test heads, and other test hardware to ensure accurate and repeatable testing conditions. Configure and adjust test parameters including oil levels, shaft speeds, temperatures, pressures, and machine offsets. Collect, record, and analyze test data through data acquisition (DAQ) systems, oil sampling, and laboratory documentation processes. Perform precise measurements of seals, components, and test hardware using a variety of measuring instruments. Calibrate laboratory equipment and maintain test systems to ensure reliable and accurate results. Support overall lab operations by troubleshooting equipment, installing supporting systems such as pumps and fans, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean, organized work environment. Qualifications Mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand how components and equipment function in a testing or manufacturing environment. Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, prints, schematics, or technical documentation. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow procedures and ensure accurate test setups and data collection. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple active tests and competing priorities. Proficiency using precision measuring tools and equipment to inspect and verify dimensions. Basic understanding of dimensioning and tolerancing concepts and their application to manufactured parts. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and strong communication skills for documenting results and collaborating with engineering teams.
