Job Description
About us: NeuroKaire's (formerly Genetika+) mission is to transform brain health and eliminate suffering through the integration of precision medicine into psychiatry and neurology. Through a simple blood test, NeuroKaire's neuronal readout provides a new window into brain function, helping clinicians identify the optimal antidepressant based on the unique response of a patient's brain cells combined with their genetics and medical history. By eliminating trial-and-error protocols and optimizing treatments, NeuroKaire significantly improves patient outcomes and reduces side effects. The company's innovative technology also provides pharmaceutical companies with essential tools for targeted drug discovery and development. We are seeking a detail-oriented entry level Lab Technician to be responsible for specimen handling, supply ordering, DNA and PBMCs extractions, and cell culture and reprogramming for our clinical laboratory. This role ensures seamless testing processes while maintaining the highest standards of specimen integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform cell culture procedures, including media preparation, feeding, passaging, and cell reprogramming (e.g., PBMCs to iPSCs), while maintaining strict aseptic technique Monitor cell health, viability, and growth, ensuring consistency and reproducibility of stem cell workflows Perform DNA and PBMC extraction from clinical specimens to support downstream applications Ensure sample traceability: receive, log, and accession clinical samples according to laboratory protocols Verify specimen integrity, labeling, and accompanying documentation Coordinate proper storage and tracking of samples throughout the testing workflow Required Qualifications Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Life Sciences required Previous laboratory experience in Industry for at least 1 year Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication skills Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently Physical Requirements Extended periods of standing, sitting, and computer work Manual dexterity for handling specimens and packaging materials What We Offer Professional development opportunities Collaborative team environment Meaningful contribution to patient careJob Type:
