This individual will analyze materials, ensure compliance with quality standards, and contribute to overall laboratory operations. Key Responsibilities Analyze raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with established specifications and procedures Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including scales, pH meters, spectrophotometers, colorimeters, and centrifuges/rotors Perform routine quality inspections within a manufacturing facility Investigate and help determine root causes of analytical variances or out-of-specification results Review and verify test results and accurately enter data into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) Support review of data generated by junior or entry-level analysts Collaborate with the quality team to perform instrument calibrations and method standardizations Follow standard laboratory procedures to maintain equipment, reagents, solutions, and testing materials Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant laboratory environment Complete all required laboratory training and safety programs Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a scientific field (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, or related) Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment Detail-oriented with a professional and accountable approach to work Bilingual is a plus Preferred Experience Exposure to laboratory testing procedures and equipment calibration Familiarity with quality standards such as GMP, FSMA, or HACCP Prior experience in a manufacturing or food-related environment is helpful but not required Work Environment & Level Entry-level role; no prior industry experience required Hands-on laboratory and manufacturing floor environment Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Totowa, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
