Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • The Sampler conducts physical sample collection of bulk and raw materials in a timely manner following cGMP'S and internal procedures.
  • The Sampling activities may be more fast pasted based on the higher priorities and workload of the day.
  • The Sampler must follow the good manufacturing practices and hygiene when taking physical samples of the materials.
  • The Sampler documents sampling activities in approved GMP forms following internal procedures for good documentation practices.
  • The Sampler labels each physical container with the correct status labeling.
  • The Sampler delivers the physical samples (bulk & raw materials) to the Analytical Lab for testing and final release.
  • The Sampler works directly with the Analytical lab to prioritize the materials in the daily process and helps maintain a smooth plan with a steady flow of materials,
  • The Sampler works closely with other departments (Receiving, Warehouse Logistics, Production & Analytical Lab) to ensure that physical materials are physically moved to the approved location and have the proper released labeling.
  • The Sampler request via email (internal teams & Customers) the missing CofA's for the materials that are needed for release.
  • The Sampler is responsible for follow ups on pending CofA's.
  • The Sampler may participate in investigations relating to the sampling process. The Sampler should identify issues or any risk in the sampling area, and report to the QC Analytical Lab Manager.
  • The Sampler will conduct cross training within the department or in the QC Analytical lab as back up coverage.
  • The Sampler will conduct additional task identities by the QC Analytical Lab Manager or, Director of Quality.
Requirements:
Attention to detail, and good communication. Flexible hours to cover other shifts when short staff To adopt on last minutes changes based on workload and priorities. Self-motivated to lead the process and ownership.
  • Fluency in English speaking, team player, positive attitude, fast learner, have initiative, proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Quality background is preferable.

$17.50 - $20.00 per hour
