$15.00 Hourly Campus Health Sciences Center (HSC) - Albuquerque, NM Department COP Pharmaceutical Sciences (553A) Employment Type Student Employment Student Type Status Non-Exempt Background Check Required No For Best Consideration Date 9/7/2026 Position Summary The student Researcher will assist in the Laboratory of Dr. Matt Campen and will report to Dr. Marcus Garcia, PharmD, RPh. This position is funded by an R01 Subaward with Baylor College of Medicine. This focus of the Researcher position is for success in addressing the experiments under the grant, titled "Understanding the Impact of Micro- and Nanoplastics on Preterm Birth (Grant 3RWT3)." Duties include data collection, analysis, assistance with reporting and/or manuscript preparation, and other duties as assigned. This position includes varied and complex duties involving a high degree of responsibility and judgement. This position will provide opportunities to explore and assist in research topics and participate in laboratory duties including: analysis of various samples; basic use/application of laboratory instrumentation; analysis of histological sections; quantitation of positively staining cells/regions from experimental models, along with statistical analysis of the resultant data.
