We are seeking a motivated Laboratory Technician to join our team in Artesia, NM. In this role, you'll be actively engaged in daily laboratory operations, supporting critical testing through sample preparation, analytical testing, and accurate documentation within the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). You'll work hands-on with laboratory instrumentation, contribute to quality and compliance initiatives, and help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-organized laboratory environment. This position offers the opportunity to strengthen technical expertise, collaborate with an experienced team, and directly contribute to reliable, high-quality results that support essential laboratory operations. What You'll Do- Prepare and analyze crude oil, natural gas, condensate, NGL, fuels, and other hydrocarbon samples in accordance with approved methods, SOPs, and quality standards
- Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory instrumentation, including GC, Micro GC, densitometers, and other petroleum testing equipment
- Enter, review, and document test results in LIMS and other designated systems
- Follow ASTM methods, GLP, quality assurance, and safety protocols to ensure accurate and reliable results
- Assist with sample receipt, inventory management, laboratory housekeeping, and other daily laboratory operations

- High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or relevant scientific discipline preferred
- Demonstrated hands-on laboratory experience in a professional laboratory environment, preferably within petroleum, energy, environmental, chemical, manufacturing, or related industries
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs, test methods, and safety requirements.
- Basic familiarity with laboratory equipment and instrumentation such as GC, Micro GC, densitometers, centrifuges, or similar equipment preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) Work Schedule
- Full-time, onsite position following a Monday
- Friday schedule from 7 AM
- 4 PM
