Qualifications:
Required High School diploma or equivalent. Preferred Associates Degree in a technical discipline such as science or engineering or experience in a laboratory or chemical manufacturing environment is a plus.
Responsibilities:
1.
Maintain internal reference standard systems:
organization of active and inactive reference standards, filing, labeling/tagging 2. Coordinate with shipping to provide time-sensitive deliveries of reference standards when requested by customers (including authoring shipment authorization letters, submitting the shipment request to the lab, document aliquoting of the material, etc…) 3. Interfacing between client sites to coordinate supply of reference standards to support production. 4.
Manage timelines and multiple projects:
Interface with supervisor and management regularly to coordinate timelines and discuss the status of assigned tasks, 5. Perform other related duties as may be reasonably assigned in the course of business. Participate in self-development activities. 6. Manage timelines and multiple projects by Interfacing with scientists and management to coordinate testing timelines, corrections to documentation, and reporting within defined turnaround times. Adjust priorities based on due dates and invoicing goals 7. Conduct laboratory operations in a safe manner. Maintain familiarity with the Chemical Hygiene Plan. Exhibit safety awareness and safe work practices. 8. Follow responsible actions regarding chemical disposal. Maintain compliance with all regulations at the federal, state, and local levels, as well as all appropriate SOP's. 9. Maintain the laboratory equipment in a clean, organized and orderly manner: 10. Handle controlled substances including maintaining inventory, completing paperwork, and conducting biannual review 11. Manage workload and time to enable the incumbent to perform multiple projects effectively and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed on a timely basis 12. Volunteer to assist with other tasks in the analytical function not directly related to specific projects 13. Participate in self-development activities and training others 14. Perform other related duties as may be reasonably assigned in the course of business
Pay:
$25.00 - $25.47 per hour
