Job Description:

The Medical Laboratory Science department is currently seeking a part-time Instructional Support Technician to assist in the student laboratories.

Responsibilities will include:

Setting up laboratory equipment and materials prior to a laboratory session. Preparing reagents and cultures. Performing quality control. Cleaning glassware. Laundering lab coats. Assisting faculty and/or students during structured laboratory sessions and/or open laboratory sessions, and cleaning up after the laboratory session is over. Assisting with the maintenance and calibration of laboratory instrumentation and with monitoring chemical inventory. The position requires knowledge and practice of safety in a medical laboratory setting.

Requirements:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

BS in Medical Laboratory Science Knowledge of current Medical Laboratory Science practices

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
