Job Description

SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Quality Control (QC) Intern is a temporary, entry-level position in the QC Laboratory. The QC Intern is responsible for performing routine sample analyses in a cGMP environment, providing support to ongoing laboratory activities, and participate in special projects.
ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE
The QC Intern reports to the QC Manager or QC Team lead.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary responsibilities of this role include the following: Performs analysis on routine laboratory samples in the raw materials or finished product group Prepares test solutions, reagents, and standards Maintains accurate records using laboratory notebooks and computer systems Additional duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Currently enrolled in a college or university Completed General Chemistry or equivalent physical sciences coursework with laboratory experience Proficient in computer use (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with ability to learn new computer applications Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to comprehend and follow Standard Operating Procedures and test methods
GMP DECISION-MAKING AUTHORITY
None The anticipated base hourly rate for this position is $18.00. This role is temporary and not benefit eligible.
