Job Description:
Overnight Lab Aide Location:
Port Jefferson, NY Hours:
5/8.5 hour shifts, Mon-Fri (between 10:00pm - 6:30am)

In This Role, You Will:
Knowledge of basic laboratory procedures and practices. Ability to operate and maintain centrifuges and processing equipment authorized within the Laboratory Services Department. Focused on safety and quality assurance procedures with the ability to function within or above regulatory agency requirements. Performs multiple tasks such as; pending logs, restocking of laboratory supplies, disposal of biohazard waste, temperature charts, helping with inventory counts, archiving completed work, scanning records, and maintenance of laboratory workflow. Proper usage of time management skills. Interact in a positive manner with supervisors, managers, and coworkers. Experienced with workflow management. High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted activities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; resourceful and organized. Assumes other duties as assigned by management. Understands and observes all confidentiality and HIPAA provisions. Ability to navigate and perform required tasks on Labdaq, Onco EMR and Infinity. Recognizes and conveys to management any departmental improvements necessary. Operate and maintain laboratory automation systems
We Require:
Must have a High School Diploma at least 1 year of experience in laboratory operations, preferred. Bi/Lingual, English/Spanish speaking preferred Proficient in
