Polysomnography Technician or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)LOCATION

As a Polysomnography Technician or RRT, you will provide patient care and conduct diagnostic testing in adherence to professional standards. Your responsibilities will include administering and interpreting diagnostic tests like PSG, MSLT, and CPAP, analyzing results for physician review, collaborating with colleagues for quality assessments, and managing equipment application and maintenance.Responsibilities:
Independently conduct high-quality PSG and other studies Maintain equipment, perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot malfunctions, and report issues to management Select appropriate recording montages for cases, ensure high-quality recordings, and identify/eliminate artifacts Assess patient physical and mental status during and after tests, and communicate with relevant personnel for continuity of care Operate equipment efficiently and attend to patient needs for optimal customer service Complete additional projects as assigned by managementQualifications:
Registered Polysomnography Technologist or RRT (Ohio Licensed for RRT only; CRTs need not apply) with BRPT or RPSGT certification Minimum one year of experience in sleep center or respiratory therapy BLS certification required Strong communication skills with ability to convey complex information clearly and accurately to colleagues and patientsAdditional Info:
