Job Description
The Majer Lab in the Division of Immunobiology at Cincinnati Children's studies how innate immune receptors—particularly Toll‑like receptors and inflammasomes—are regulated to mount effective immune responses while preventing excessive inflammation and autoimmune disease. Using a combination of mouse models, cell‑based assays, biochemical approaches, and advanced imaging, the lab investigates how precise protein localization and trafficking within immune cells controls signaling and disease outcomes. We are seeking a Research Assistant II or III to support daily laboratory operations and contribute to ongoing research through mouse colony management, experimental assistance, and lab coordination. This position plays a critical role in ensuring continuity across projects, maintaining organization and compliance, and supporting a collaborative research environment focused on understanding immune regulation and human disease.
