Role:

The primary objective is to support teaching and research at the Water/Soil Lab under Dr. Barbosa supervision.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Assist with organizing and maintaining the water and soil laboratory to support teaching and research activitiesPrepare laboratory materials, reagents, and equipment for class experiments Clean, label, and store glassware, sampling containers, and laboratory suppliesSupport students and help ensure materials are ready for class activitiesMaintain inventory of laboratory supplies and notify the supervisor when materials need to be restockedFollow laboratory safety procedures and help maintain a clean and safe working environment

Qualifications/Skills:

Environmental Sciences, Environmental Studies or Geography major (preferred) or any majorBasic understanding of water and soil concepts and laboratory organization
