3rd Shift | Tuesday-Saturday, 11:30 PM-8:00 AM 15% 3rd Shift Differential Job Summary The Specimen Processor is responsible for performing specimen sample sorting, processing, and data entry in a fast-paced laboratory environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working efficiently in a high-volume setting while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities Sort and process specimen samples according to established procedures. Perform accurate and timely data entry of specimen and patient information. Ensure specimens are properly identified, labeled, and handled. Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy. Follow laboratory procedures and established guidelines for specimen processing. Maintain accurate documentation and records. Support daily laboratory operations and meet productivity expectations. Perform additional duties and overtime as needed. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Strong data entry skills. Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to follow established procedures and instructions. Ability to work the required Tuesday-Saturday, 11:30 PM-8:00 AM schedule. Preferred Qualifications Previous laboratory, specimen processing, healthcare, or related experience is a plus. Experience working in a high-volume environment is preferred. Additional Information No travel required. Vaccinations are not required. COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are not required. This is a contract position with potential for conversion to LabCorp, depending on business needs and candidate performance. Conversion compensation will be determined by the LabCorp Talent Acquisition team based on candidate experience at the time of conversion. Overtime may be available based on business needs. Interview Process Candidates selected for consideration will participate in an individual, onsite interview with the Hiring Manager.
