Job Description

Category Laboratory - Medical Technologist Job Type Contract Seeking experienced professionals with Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician expertise to provide high-quality laboratory testing services in a dynamic healthcare setting. This contract position spans 13 weeks and specifically calls for night shift availability, working four 10-hour shifts per week (9:00pm-7:30am). Your skills will directly impact patient care by supporting accurate laboratory analysis and timely results for clinicians.
Qualifications:
Valid ASCP certification required Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Medical Technology, or related science Hands-on experience as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician Knowledge of laboratory best practices, safety protocols, and quality assurance standards Familiarity with routine and complex laboratory tests in chemistry, hematology, immunology, microbiology, or blood bank Proficiency using laboratory information systems and automated equipment Strong communication, attention to detail, and organizational abilities
Schedule:
13-week contract Night shift: Four 10-hour shifts, 9:00pm-7:30am
Responsibilities:
Perform and verify diagnostic laboratory tests promptly and accurately Ensure integrity of samples throughout the analytic process Complete and record quality control procedures as required Maintain lab instruments and troubleshoot equipment issues Follow established laboratory safety policies and procedures Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and fellow lab personnel to provide efficient patient care Uphold confidentiality and compliance with regulatory standards
