Medical Laboratory Tech

Category Laboratory - Medical Technologist Job Type Contract Seeking an experienced professional to provide critical laboratory support in a fast-paced healthcare setting. This position offers a 13-week assignment to deliver high-quality diagnostic expertise and technical proficiency during night shifts.

Schedule:

4 shifts per week 10 hours per shift Nights, 9:00pm - 7:30am

Qualifications:

Active certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) ASCP certification required Previous experience in a clinical laboratory environment preferred Strong understanding of laboratory equipment, processes, and quality control standards Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities High level of accuracy and attention to detail Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach

Responsibilities:

Process and analyze a wide range of patient specimens according to established laboratory protocols Conduct diagnostic testing using state-of-the-art instrumentation Ensure all test results are accurate, reliable, and reported in a timely manner Perform instrument maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting Maintain thorough, organized laboratory records and adhere to regulatory requirements Collaborate with clinical staff to prioritize workload and address urgent laboratory requests Uphold safety and infection prevention procedures at all times This role is ideal for someone committed to laboratory excellence, who thrives working overnight and delivering vital results for patient care.
