Contract-to-Hire Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our team in Solon, Ohio. This position is responsible for performing laboratory testing, preparing samples, recording results, and supporting quality control processes. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals looking to build a career in a laboratory environment. Responsibilities Prepare and process samples for testing and evaluation Perform routine laboratory testing following established procedures Accurately record and document test results Operate laboratory equipment and maintain testing instruments Follow all laboratory safety and quality procedures Assist with quality control and quality assurance activities Maintain laboratory supplies and inventory Ensure a clean and organized work environment Communicate findings and observations to supervisors and team members Support continuous improvement initiatives as needed Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Laboratory Science, or related field preferred Previous laboratory, manufacturing, or quality control experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to follow written procedures and work instructions Basic computer skills and data entry experience Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Skills Laboratory testing Sample preparation Quality Control (QC) Data documentation Chemical handling GMP, GLP, or ISO environments Manufacturing or industrial laboratory experience #IND2
