CTO Summary:

The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for performing assigned tasks for laboratory projects.

Essential Responsibilities:

Conduct daily operation for projects, such as sampling and feeding digesters and testing samples. Check lab equipment daily, such as walk-in freezer, walk-in refrigerators, incubator shakers, walk-in incubator, lab-scale reactors and pilot digesters. Conduct Lab cleaning and maintain sample containers, such as bottles, flasks, test tubes, buckets and drums. Adhere to company, federal, and state administrative procedures, guidelines, initiatives.

Required Physical and Environmental Demands:

Lifting, standing, sitting, walking, bending, reaching, grasping, pushing/pulling, repetitive use of hands Exposure to limited hazardous chemicals Travel requirements - some travel to other facilities is required

Education, Experience and Skills Required:

Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology or other related field is preferred but not required. Must have the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Must have ability to handle multiple projects, tasks, and testing simultaneously. Must be able to work well under pressure and within tight deadlines. Strong interpersonal communication skills are necessary

$45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
