Department:
Laboratory Shift/Schedule:

Part Time (16 hrs/wk), Evening/Night Shift

GENERAL SUMMARY

Works under the supervision of the Transfusion Services/Lab Education Manager and/or the Core Lab Manager. The Medical Laboratory Technician's primary job function is to perform and assess laboratory tests and procedures. Performs quality control, routine maintenance and other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education:

• High School Diploma or successful completion of an equivalent High School Exam Required

• Associate Degree in Medical Technology or equivalent required

Licensure:

• MLT licensure by ASCP or AMT required

Experience:
