Requirements Research Field Other Education Level Undergraduate Skills/Qualifications Qualification:

Higher Technical Diploma in Clinical and Biomedical Laboratory Science or an officially recognised equivalent qualification (MECES Level 1).

Supplementary Qualification:

Training course in animal experimentation for the performance of the following tasks: a) Animal care b) Euthanasia of animals c) Carrying out procedures Training accredited by the relevant certificate. Specific Requirements Professional experience in cell culture (HAEC or other cell lines) and in quality control of cell cultures, accredited by a certificate detailing the duties and responsibilities carried out at the organisation or group where the work was performed. Professional experience in laboratory management (organisation, stock control) and scientific documentation (protocols, laboratory notebooks), evidenced by a certificate detailing the duties and responsibilities carried out at the organisation or group where the work was performed. Training in biosafety and occupational risk prevention, accredited by a certificate or qualification. Training in immunological studies for Senior Clinical Laboratory Technicians, accredited by a certificate or qualification.
