Job Description

Category Laboratory - Medical Technologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding clinical laboratory opportunity where your expertise as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician makes a direct impact on patient care. This contract position spans 13 weeks, offering a dynamic work environment that values accuracy, efficiency, and collaboration.
Schedule:
Four 10-hour night shifts per week
Hours:
9:00pm - 7:30am
Key Qualifications:
Current ASCP certification is required Professional background as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician Experience working in a clinical laboratory environment Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols Excellent verbal and written communication skills Adaptability to changing priorities and laboratory needs
Responsibilities:
Conduct a range of laboratory procedures, analyses, and tests with precision and reliability Prepare, handle, and process specimens according to laboratory standards Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment, ensuring quality control Document and report test findings accurately and efficiently Collaborate closely with pathologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals Maintain a clean and organized workspace adhering to safety and infection control guidelines Contribute to overall department goals with a focus on timely results delivery This opportunity is ideal for professionals seeking hands-on laboratory practice in a busy healthcare setting.
