At Bosch, you change lives. Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Laboratory Engineer to join our team in Norman, OK. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting research and development by designing and executing experiments, analyzing data, and ensuring the optimal performance of laboratory equipment. Your work will directly contribute to advancing product development and maintaining high standards of quality and reliability. Key Responsibilities Design and execute laboratory experiments in accordance with established protocols and best practices Operate and maintain a wide range of laboratory instruments and equipment. Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data using advanced software tools and statistical methods Prepare clear, comprehensive technical reports to communicate findings to stakeholders Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support research initiatives and product development projects Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and repeatability of test results Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and laboratory standards Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to equipment and experimental processes Contribute to the development and optimization of new laboratory techniques and methodologies Maintain meticulous records of experiments, results, and equipment maintenance activities
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in
Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Experience:
3+ years of hands-on experience in a laboratory or HVAC testing environment preferred
Technical Skills:
Proficient in operating and maintaining laboratory instruments and HVAC test equipment Experience with PLC programming for automated test systems and equipment control Knowledge of advanced environmental control methods for HVAC product preferred testing, including temperature, humidity, and airflow management Strong analytical ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights Skilled in experimental design and statistical analysis techniques Proficiency with laboratory software, data acquisition systems, and data management tools
Knowledge:
Thorough understanding of laboratory safety protocols and regulatory compliance Familiarity with quality control procedures and industry standards Awareness of HVAC-specific testing practices and standards
