Job Title:
Lab Technician Job Description The Lab Technician prepares reagents, buffers, and solutions, performs basic laboratory testing, and accurately completes batch records to support day-to-day laboratory operations. This role contributes directly to high-quality experimental and production work while maintaining clear documentation and supporting additional tasks within the lab as needed. Responsibilities Prepare reagents, buffers, and solutions according to established protocols and specifications. Perform basic laboratory testing and analyses in line with standard operating procedures. Accurately complete batch records and related documentation to ensure full traceability of work. Maintain organized and clearly labeled laboratory materials, solutions, and samples. Follow laboratory protocols, quality standards, and safety procedures at all times. Support additional laboratory tasks and projects as assigned to meet operational needs. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily lab operations and timely completion of work. Essential Skills Demonstrated experience working in a laboratory environment. Ability to prepare reagents, buffers, and solutions accurately and consistently. Ability to perform basic lab testing and interpret results at a fundamental level. Strong attention to detail when completing batch records and laboratory documentation. Solid understanding of biology or related life sciences principles. Effective organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks in the lab. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biological Sciences, or Microbiology. Familiarity with general lab testing techniques and equipment. Ability to follow written protocols and standard operating procedures with high accuracy. Strong communication skills to work effectively within a laboratory team. Work Environment This position is based in a brand-new, modern facility in Horsham that offers an updated, well-equipped laboratory setting. The environment combines the close-knit, collaborative feel of a small company with the resources and stability of a large organization, providing significant opportunities for growth and professional development. Team members work in a professional lab setting with standard laboratory equipment and adhere to established safety and operational practices. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Horsham, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
