Job Description

Lancaster Dairy Herd Improvement Association (Lancaster DHIA) provides milk testing, local lab testing, and on-farm field services in the mid-Atlantic and Northeastern US. Our mission is to help our members and the agriculture community prosper while promoting a safe and abundant food supply. Our core values are teamwork, integrity, the golden rule, pride, and innovation. We are seeking a Lab Technician to join our team at our headquarters in Manheim, PA. The Lab Technician job duties include:
  • Operate the combi efficiently to fulfill customer testing requirements and meet quality standards;
  • Be available to help in other areas that support the operation of the lab;
  • Stay late when needed to meet customer needs;
  • Work as a team with coworkers and provide excellent customer service to our customers; and
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested by the manager. We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
  • Strong problem-solving skills;
  • Reading, oral, and written communication skills;
  • Teamwork;
  • Concentration and detail orientation;
  • Bring a proactive and big picture context to opportunities and challenges; and
  • A strong work ethic.
