Research Assistant - Nefedova Lab Req #1108 The Wistar Institute, 3601 Spruce Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States of America Apply Share Job Description Posted Friday, September 4, 2026 at 12:00 AM The Wistar Institute has an opening for a Research Assistant to join the laboratory of Dr. Yulia Nefedova. The Nefedova Laboratory focuses on the biology of myeloid cells in cancer, primarily multiple myeloma, and identification of potential therapeutic targets in this disease. The successful candidate will provide technical support by performing laboratory tasks and experiments. Responsibilities will include processing tissue samples from patients, performing flow cytometry analysis,, isolation cells from human and mouse tissues, and basic mouse colonies maintenance. A bachelor's degree in a science-related field is required and some experience working in a laboratory environment is preferred. Experience in the handling of laboratory animals (mice), flow cytometry, and the knowledge of bioinformatics is also preferred.
