Position Overview As a Laboratory Technician, you will provide prescribed medical treatment and personal care services to patients with diseases and injuries seeking treatment in the clinic, as directed by physician or mid-level provider. ?You will collaborate with the core PACT Team (Primary Care Provider, RN and Medical Assistant) and expanded PACT Team including family/caregiver, VA, and community-based services involved in developing the patient care plan.? Core Responsibilities Perform in-house laboratory procedures on appropriate specimens to provide information for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases within the scope of the clinic. Recognize and respond to critical values as they pertain to patient tests, results, controls, and proficiency samples Ensure specimens are properly collected and labeled Enter laboratory requests/results into the

VISTA/CPRS

system.
