Environmental Laboratory Technician Job DescriptionJob Description Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team in West Warwick, RI. A science-related degree is preferred, and the ideal candidate will possess a background in laboratory procedures and will excel in logistics, quality control, and data management. That being said, training is also incredibly important to the company, and the most important attribute is a willingness to learn and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, test, and analyze samples using advanced laboratory techniques and equipment. Conduct quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability of results. Manage data entry, maintain accurate records. Collaborate with team members to optimize processes and improve laboratory practices. Maintain laboratory equipment, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot issues. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences, Chemistry, or a related field is preferred. Experience in a laboratory setting is appreciated but not required. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Organizational and time-management skills. Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and processes.
