Near Walterboro, SC https://bcvllc.work/ Starting pay will depend on experience. Raises are given based on performance reviews. The Lab Technician performs laboratory procedures to collect plasma and serum from whole blood. All duties are performed in compliance with established protocols.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up centrifuges and gather supplies needed for processing of various blood products.
- Perform a variety of processes (i.e. pipetting) and use of lab equipment (centrifuges, scales, etc.) according to instructions.
- Detailed data entry
- Read and record precise volume measurements.
- Basic math skills to accurately count large amounts.
- Maintain a clean and safe laboratory environment, adhering to cleaning policies, procedures, and schedules.
- Work closely with veterinary staff and other lab technicians in a fast paced environment.
