00 per hour Permanent Various Shifts Available Industry manufacturing & production (Production Occupations) Reference number S_175248 Spherion is seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our Quality Assurance Department. This role is vital to ensuring the safety, quality, and integrity of our dairy products from the farm to the customer. The successful candidate will be responsible for rigorous testing, precise documentation, and maintaining the highest standards of food safety.

Wage:

$22 an hour The work schedule is a 2-2-3 rotation 12 hour shifts start at between 5am

• 5:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Sampling & Analysis:

  Collect diverse samples for component and microbiological testing, including environmental testing using equipment swabs.

• Quality Monitoring:

  Perform temperature verifications for milk sample refrigerators and coolers to ensure product stability.

• Data Management:

  Maintain accurate documentation of product and raw sampling results used for farmer and customer payment processing.

• System Administration:

  Enter manifest information accurately

• Compliance:

  Create Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for all outgoing product loads and uphold all food safety protocols.

• Collaboration:

  Participate in mandatory staff meetings and professional training sessions. ...

Education:

High School Experience:

1-4 years

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrate troubleshooting aptitude.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, and/or stoop for entire shift.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
