years of experience in a related function within food/beverage (R D, Quality), CPG internship / co-op, or commensurate advanced education The Laboratory Technician role within Research and Development will support the product Innovation agenda to develop consumer-centric liquid beverages across existing and new platforms in several categories and brands, supporting the development and commercialization of new concepts and prototypes.
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES
Assist in the execution of bench-top experiments and formula calculations to support product tastings and sensory evaluations across a wide range of KDP brands and beverage categories. Support product stability studies by coordinating sample pulls, preparing samples, and organizing evaluations. Contribute to business continuity initiatives by managing material assessment requests and preparing related samples. Verify formula accuracy and maintain up-to-date documentation for ingredients and formulations. Collaborate with cross-functional R D teams, including Sensory, Ingredients, Nutrition, Regulatory, Flavor Technology, Chemistry, Process Engineering, and Technical Services. Maintain detailed, accurate, and organized records of laboratory activities and experimental data. Operate safely and responsibly in a laboratory environment, adhering to all safety protocols and best practices. Utilize Microsoft Office and formulation software to document lab work, formulas, and experimental results. Demonstrate adaptability and resilience in response to shifting business priorities and project needs. Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment by building trust and maintaining professional relationships across teams. Qualifications Associate degree (B.S. preferred) in a scientific field 1 - 2 years of experience in a related function within food/beverage (R D, Quality), CPG internship / co-op, or commensurate advanced education Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Enjoys working in a team-based culture and proactively collaborates Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, fluid environment
