Lab Technician

Lab Technician#26-15270 Up to $19 per hour Garland, TX All On-site Job Description Our Client, a Paint Manufacturing company, is looking for a Lab Technician for their Garland, TX location.

Responsibilities:

Cleans, maintains and calibrates standard equipment and maintains a clean and safe working environment. Completes appropriate forms and documentation regarding tasks and requests; receives direction from other technicians or chemists on specialized or complex issues. Performs basic calculations to prepare, perform, and conclude samples. Performs basic technical tests and analyses based on formulas and project requirements; tasks are more standard and require limited judgment within established guidelines. Performs other duties as assigned. Prepares basic samples, materials, equipment, and other required tools for laboratory tests or development. Performs coating spray application.

Requirements:

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent Knowledge of basic math skills Computer knowledge for basic inputting, communication, and data analysis Ability to learn software used in lab. Ability to complete work in a timely manner. Must pay attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and work with a team.
