This position will be based out of Midland, TX. Essential Functions Operate and maintain laboratory testing equipment to ensure laboratory can maintain high sample throughput. Follow written test procedures to ensure consistency in sample testing. Accurately documents information by maintaining daily logs; equipment record books; an organized laboratory notebook including samples Analyze results collected and ensure data is reported in a timely manner. Performing tests by operating laboratory equipment like microscopes, automated analyzers, and specialized instruments to conduct various tests on samples Communicating findings accurately and timely to relevant parties Ensure quality control by following established protocols and procedures to maintain accuracy and consistency in results Role Requiremtents High School Diploma or Equivalent 2-3 years of Laboratory Experience Strong understanding of scientific principles and laboratory techniques Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and software Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to follow established protocols and safety procedures Good communication and documentation skills Environmental Restrictions Ability to perform essential job duties in both indoor and outdoor environments, including offices, facilities, and external job sites. Regular exposure to varying weather conditions, noise, dust, moving equipment, and uneven terrain. Physical requirements may include sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, bending, reaching, and operating tools or equipment as necessary to perform job responsibilities. Regular attendance and adherence to company safety policies are required.
