What You Will Do:
+ Provide direct laboratory support to onsite researchers + Dispose of laboratory waste streams + Stock general laboratory and safety supplies - medical, dental, vision, + Stock bulk solvents, gases, and special supplies for specific teams + Ensure that lab coats/uniforms are washed and returned + Wash laboratory glassware + Utilize a forklift with specialized accessories to move drums and palletized materials + Wear personal protective equipment, including a respirator + Perform routine safety program checks and preventive maintenance of their equipment + Maintain standard operating procedures + Maintain clean and safe work facility
Minimum Qualifications:
+ A high school diploma or GED with two years of experience working in a lab environment, OR, an Associate's Degree in a related field of study (e.g. lab technician programs, college coursework in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics) + 2-4 years of work experience in a warehouse, lab, plant, or similar environment + Immigration sponsorship not available for this role.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications + A high attention to detail and quality service + Must work well with other team members + Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
