We're currently hiring on behalf of a Manufacturing client for a Lab Technician position. Job Overview We're seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Lab Technician to join a fast-paced manufacturing lab. The ideal candidate brings a strong work ethic, sharp attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy under pressure. Key Responsibilities Retrieve testing samples as required Conduct material testing per lab specification sheets Perform verification checks on laboratory equipment Promptly report any equipment issues or malfunctions Exercise authority to hold and reject defective materials Follow all laboratory safety protocols and procedures Maintain accurate, detailed records of all tests conducted Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient lab operations Requirements Solid, stable work history — our client is seeking a long-term team member Computer literate Basic math proficiency Ability to read and follow written work instructions Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights Availability for 5-6 shifts per week, including 12-hour shifts and required overtime High school diploma or equivalent (additional education or certification a plus) Preferred Qualifications Recent experience in an Industrial laboratory setting Familiarity with standard lab equipment and testing procedures Background in quality control processes Knowledge of laboratory safety regulations #T2023
