Quality Reports to:Quarantine Lead General Description:
A quality control (QC) employee works for the company to inspect, test, and sample materials, parts, or products for defects and any deviations from specifications. Oversee all sampling activities including sample retention and sample testing in Quality. Perform scale check and calibration in production and quality. Collect samples from incoming raw material/ingredients, blending, encapsulation, finished goods for retention, and testing. Maintain sample logging and recording. Fill out sampling forms with the vendor's Certificate of Analysis (CofA), submit samples with sampling forms and CofA to R&D and Quality for testing and retention. Seal and label sample containers, bags, and boxes. Organize and keep the Quarantine area clean and free of contamination. Organize and properly store Allergen products in the Quarantine Area. Keep track of QA Hold, rejected products, and materials inventory. Comply with FDA, cGMP/cGDP and other regulatory requirements. Work independently as well as interact with other team members in Production, Warehouse, R&D and Quality when sampling is needed.Requirements:
