Duties & Responsibilities Perform physical testing and evaluation of samples according to established laboratory procedures and specifications. Prepare, organize, label, and handle samples accurately for laboratory testing. Operate laboratory instruments, testing equipment, and measuring tools as trained. Record test results and laboratory data accurately in required documentation or systems. Review samples and results for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with established quality standards. Follow laboratory procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety requirements, and quality-control protocols. Maintain clean, organized, and properly sanitized laboratory work areas and equipment. Communicate out-of-specification results, testing concerns, or equipment issues to laboratory leadership. Work with laboratory and quality team members to support timely testing and production needs.
Qualifications & Requirements Required:
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization. Ability to follow written laboratory procedures, specifications, and safety instructions. Basic math, measurement, and documentation skills. Ability to accurately enter, record, and review testing information. Dependable attendance and ability to work Thursday through Saturday from 6:00 AM-6:30 PM. Ability to work independently and as part of a laboratory or quality team. Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred:
Previous laboratory technician, quality control, testing, manufacturing, or nutraceutical experience. Familiarity with laboratory equipment, sample preparation, or physical testing procedures. Experience working in a GMP-regulated manufacturing or laboratory environment. Relevant science, laboratory, quality-control, or technical education or training is a plus.
