Lab Tech Dynamic Blending Specialists Vineyard, UT Job Details Internship 1 hour ago Qualifications Records maintenance Microsoft Excel Microsoft Outlook Word embeddings Pipetting Full Job Description Lab Technician / R D Intern Pure Manufacturing | Vineyard, UT Position Summary The Lab Technician / R D Intern is responsible for supporting laboratory operations and research and development activities through the preparation, testing, documentation, and evaluation of raw materials and finished products. This position assists in the development and manufacturing of nutraceutical and personal care products, including capsules, powders, stick packs, and other dosage forms. The Lab Technician maintains accurate laboratory records, follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), adheres to established safety procedures, and collaborates with the R D, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to support product development and continuous improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications Current enrollment in or completion of a degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Food Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific discipline; or equivalent laboratory experience. Basic understanding of laboratory techniques and scientific principles. Experience using laboratory equipment including analytical balances, pipettes, and precision measuring instruments. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to follow written procedures and work independently with minimal supervision. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to quickly learn laboratory software and internal systems. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Weigh, measure, and dispense raw materials using laboratory balances and precision measuring equipment. Assist with formulation development, blending, encapsulation, and pilot production trials. Perform FTIR identity testing on incoming raw materials. Support microbiological testing and routine laboratory procedures. Prepare laboratory samples for testing and evaluation. Accurately document laboratory procedures, observations, calculations, and test results. Maintain laboratory notebooks, electronic records, and supporting documentation. Clean, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and work areas. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and laboratory safety guidelines. Assist with stability studies, product evaluations, and research projects. Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed. Collaborate with cross-functional departments including R D, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, and Purchasing. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
