Learn more about our behavioral health and other services at: https://www.clinicalconsultants.org/ We are seeking a Part-Time Clinical Laboratory Technician to join our West Jordan team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys detail-oriented work in a healthcare environment and wants to make a difference in the lives of others. Lab experience is preferred but not required. Lab training will be provided for motivated candidates who are eager to learn and grow. Schedule Part-Time Day Shift Monday-Friday Compensation $18.00-$20.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. About the Laboratory Clinical Consultants operates a small laboratory that supports substance use treatment and medication management programs. We perform immunoassay urine toxicology testing using automated chemistry analyzers and maintain high standards for accuracy, quality, and laboratory operations in client testing. Responsibilities Receive, review, accession, and prepare urine specimens for testing Accurately label, document, and track specimens Perform toxicology testing using automated analyzers and laboratory procedures Complete routine instrument calibration, quality control, and maintenance activities Enter and verify laboratory data in electronic systems Follow laboratory safety, quality assurance, and regulatory procedures Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment Work collaboratively with laboratory and clinical staff, following direction of lab manager and director Participate in trainings and professional development opportunities Qualifications Required High school diploma or equivalent Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Basic computer and data entry proficiency Ability to follow laboratory procedures and maintain accurate documentation Ability to work independently and as part of a team Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background check Preferred Experience working in a laboratory, healthcare, medical office, specimen processing, or related environment Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, biological, or medical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited university Experience with laboratory instrumentation or toxicology testing Lab experience is preferred but not required. Pay:
