Job Description

Excellent opportunity for an Medical Lab Technician (MLT).
Hours:
Monday - Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm Contract to Hire potential
Job Responsibilities:
Set up, adjust, maintain and clean medical laboratory equipment. Analyze the results of tests and experiments to ensure conformity to specifications, using special mechanical and electrical devices. Analyze, gather and record test data to issue reports that use charts, graphs and narratives. Obtain specimens, cultivating, isolating and identifying microorganisms for analysis. May examine cells stained with dye to locate abnormalities. Consult with a pathologist to determine a final diagnosis when abnormal cells are found. Blood draws 15-20 per day
Skills:
Support the following departments - Micro lab, Core lab, DNA sequence, etc. Core lab skill Urinalysis microscopic, wet prep, point of care testing Lab information systems such as: Cerner or EPIC or Millenium or similar Phlebotomy skills
Education/Experience:
Must have a Associates degree in Medical Technology or Bachelors Must have at least 1-2 years' of recent experience Candidates will be credentialed. Apply for immediate consideration.
