A Sleep Laboratory Technician, also known as a polysomnographic technician, performs tests and collects data on patients with sleep disorders. Responsible for giving patients explanations of the impending sleep tests and procedures, preparing equipment for the procedures, recording activities and analyzing results - all while working under the advisement of a clinical director and/or sleep technologist.
The base pay range for this position is $30.64-$47.70 Hourly however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Life:
Performs diagnostic and therapeutic sleep studies. Review patient information and assure proper tests being performed. Observe and document sleep stages, clinical events, position changes, and other significant events such as cardiac arrhythmias, apneas, hypopneas, and movement disorders. Verify integrity of collected data. Implement appropriate intervention including bilevel positive airway pressure, supplemental oxygen, etc., including consulting with medical director regarding any concerns. You Have:
Successful completion of polysomnographic technician program and credentialed as RPSGT by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technicians. BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
